Delete your WAYFARE account

Self-service web deletion is not available yet. Do not expect an instant delete button on this website. Until a secure authenticated deletion flow exists, account deletion is handled through a temporary manual process.

You can request deletion through either of these channels:

• Use the account-deletion option inside the WAYFARE Android app, if available in your version.
• Send a temporary/manual email request to support@wayfaretrips.com from the email address associated with your WAYFARE account.

Email temporary deletion request

This opens your email app with a pre-filled manual request to support@wayfaretrips.com. It does not delete your account automatically. A team member must verify and process the request.

When an account deletion request is processed, WAYFARE aims to permanently remove personal information and individually owned resources associated with your account, subject to the handling rules below.

This typically includes account identifiers and profile data tied to your user record, along with individually owned resources that are not required for other authorized participants.

Shared-trip information may require special handling where it also belongs to or is necessary for other authorized trip participants.

In those cases, WAYFARE may anonymize, detach, or otherwise process your contributions so remaining participants can continue using the shared trip, instead of deleting every collaborative record outright.

Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required, including for:

• security and fraud prevention;
• dispute resolution;
• compliance with law;
• other legitimate purposes permitted by applicable law.

After we receive a verified request from the email address linked to your account, we will process deletion according to our internal account-deletion procedures and applicable law.

We may contact you to confirm identity before completing the request. Processing time can vary depending on verification and shared-trip review.

Deleting your WAYFARE account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
